One of the first things my dh and then-6yod did when we moved in last Fall was to plant hyacinths, tulips and daffodils -- they were coming up SO WELL and then we got snow on Easter and more snow scheduled for this weekend. Maggie is heartbroken -- but the bulbs will be heartier next year!
If any of my tulips or daffodils survive this snowfall - after all of the sub-freezing temperatures - I will be astounded. Sigh.
