New "Book List" Feature

I'm trying to keep better track of new titles being published that might be of interest to Catholic Homeschoolers (and, as always, others who love to learn), particularly since our review process at Love2learn isn't particularly fast. Now, if you click on the "Book Lists" button in the top menu bar, you'll find a list of links with information regarding these new titles (right at the top of the list). This information will be mirrored in the sidebar of the Love2learn Blog. Enjoy!

Catholic Mother's Blogroll

I always liked the idea of this blogroll, but held off for a long time as I don't like too much busyness in my sidebar. Now that I figured out how to put my links on their own page, I've finally joined the ranks.

Details here.

New Reciprocal Link

I love discovering new homeschool blogs through my site stats.

This one looks intriguing:

A Father's Academy: The Chronicles of a Homeschooling Dad

Thanks for the link Atticus!

"Love2learn Festival"

I've been using Google Reader for a number of weeks now to share most of my "links of interest". I've decided to add a smaller version of that same "festival" in the sidebar here in order to share all of those homeschool articles, prayer requests, etc. with my Studeo readers too. I hope you enjoy it.

Got the Winter Blues?

You need to visit By Sun and Candlelight's Field Day: Late Winter Edition!

By the way, sorry for the sparse blogging. I've been putting a lot of effort into Love2learn Blog and Unity of Truth as of late.

Catholic Blog Awards

I voted today, did you?

I have far too many friends and favorite blogs in the nominations to list them all here (or even vote for all of them - some of these were tough choices!).

So I will just mention two - particularly since these are two that don't come up all that often in the course of my blogging...

My sister (who also happens to be my godmother!) has been nominated for Best Political/Social Commentary Blog: Clairity's Place

And my nomination for the best blog whose owner I'm not personally acquainted with (or related to!) is: The Way of the Fathers.

Late Winter Field Day - Coming Soon

Dawn at By Sun and Candlelight is accepting submissions for the Late Winter "Field Day" on February 16th. Check out the details here.

By the way, she shares a link for the Great Backyard Bird Count - which sounds like a lot of fun. I think we're going to give it a try.

New Reciprocal Link

Classic Catholic is run by Dr. Robert Gotcher, a professor at Sacred Heart School of Theology and a contributor to the Heart Mind and Strength Weblog. Dr. Gotcher is also the moderator of our local Catholic homeschool Latin Club and he and I will be bringing a team of students from the club to the state Junior Classical League Convention in Madison later this month.
