My Webinar at Homeschool Connections
I was pleased to have the opportunity to host a webinar on Wednesday evening through Homeschool Connections on the topic of Choosing Worthwhile Homeschool materials. I think it went pretty well and I really enjoyed the whole thing. Walter and Maureen, who run the organization, are just awesome and make you feel right at home. I was particularly pleased to have a lovely and supportive bunch of parents participating in the webinar, and it was really interesting to chat with them throughout the presentation. If you're interested in listening to the recorded webinar, you can find it here.
They have lots of other interesting webinars coming up, including some interesting high school summer enrichment classes that you might like to check out on their main site: Homeschool Connections.

Alicia, I watched/listened to your webinar yesterday morning. It was great! I love your balance and your wisdom.

Gosh, it was one of our best webinars yet. Thank you so much Alicia.
One would think this is a topic for the new kids on the block, but as one who is going into her 15th year of homeschooling I needed to hear it.
Everyone note that when you go to watch Alicia's webinar to look for the little chat and video icons at the top right hand corner after the recording starts. Click on those to get the full effect.
Also neat to note is that if you can make the live events, they are so much more fun. There was a lot of interaction between Alicia and the guests. Alicia stayed on for an hour after the webinar ended (that part is not recorded) to continue chatting. It was a wonderful evening.
Thanks again!
